If you are planning to compete in the 2008 IWF-Masters World Championships in HUNGARY in August/September you must post a qualifying total between the dates of August 25, 2007 and April 6, 2008. For a total to be recognized it must be posted at a national (or internationial) competition such as the 2007 IWF-Masters Championships, 2007 American Masters, 2007 American Open, or 2008 National Masters. A qualifying total may also be posted at any regional or local competition that can meet the following conditions:

• The scale and weights must be certified
• At least two judges must be national referees
• A special form must be signed by the weigher, referees, and athlete
